Rafting reflection 3rd Challenge

Rafting for me was okay because you know homesickness sucks especially if it’s a fantastic trip up we went Rafting run by TPP (Tai Poutini Polytechnic) at The top of the Grey River we were meant to go to Arnalds River but it was too high

First time going over rapids in a raft was an amazing feeling especially when some concave the raft which makes it way more fun ,First time camping out in a tent with classmates which was cool but then getting woke up at 12 pm thinking it was 6 or 7 am was annoying but funny and First time being in a raft was exciting I didn’t know what a raft was until I watched a video of the former Year 8’s doing the WPCA last year.

This has been my sort of reflection on Rafting.

T2W6 Refection

This week was a bit slow but enjoyable we learnt how to play the proper handball and paddle tennis,I've have been reading this book called "Touching The Void" it's about these people climbing a mountain and they slip and he has to cut the rope and its a 100 ft fall down a crevasse and he survived only breaking his leg struggling to find life. We have something called The Element and that's something that makes us happy and my element is gaming and trying to get better so when I'm older I can play in MLG (Major League Gaming) and earn money from play games. So yeah that was my week

NYLD//16 Refection

Tuesday 31.5.16

We all wake up and get ready to go to Horncastle Arena to listen to motivational speeches but not from famous people just ordinary people that had their life's changed from one person or one accident.

Billy Graham.

Billy Graham - one person changed his life and the person who changed it was a master boxer. Billy's been boxing most of his life and he’s still doing it at the age of 68, all that matters is that you can do anything you just need to stop holding back.

James Beck.

James Beck was a funny guy at the start then he got more and more motivational towards the end, he didn’t really tell us about his life much but he said something I won’t forget “You can’t control what happens to you but you can change your attitude".

Brylee Mills.

Brylee Mills was an ordinary girl until the age of 6 she had been in a car accident and had her arm stuck under the flipped van and she had to get her left arm from the elbow down amputated but that doesn’t stop her from dancing, she is a famous dancer and still a normal person but only with one arm.

Where to from here? I am going to change my attitude towards school and education
